ArrayBengals wide receiver Chad Johnson left no room for doubt Wednesday: He wants out of Cincinnati as fast as possible and he doesn't plan on reporting for any future Bengal function -- mandatory or voluntary.

What spurred Johnson's immediate reaction was a statement made by quarterback Carson Palmer that indicated Johnson had told Palmer he would be at the team's mandatory minicamp in mid-June. Johnson said that wasn't true.[/quote]

Egotistical bastard. Cincinnati should let his ass sit out the whole season, fuck trading him.
I hope they release him and the Bears pick him up.
You bring up a point. The Bears have a good defense, the Bengals have a shitty defense. Johnson to the Bears for defense?
Johnson to the Bears...please! If we win, he will be happy. IF

But that wouldn't be sober

How about this-

Bears get: Chad, Bengals 2nd rounder
Bengals get: Bears 4th rounder, Bears 2009 2nd rounder, and Alex Brown

This way, the Bears could go:
1. Williams, OT
2. Flacco/Brohm, QB
3. Forte, RB
3. Rachal, OG
and so on from there...

IMO thats taking the bengals to the woodshed... Although Chad Johnson has ruined any trade value he may have once had. Yes the Bengals get quite a bit, but they still have to give up their 2nd rounder as well. Yes they'll get a pick somewhere around 35-37 next year, but that (the '08 2nd rounder) in trade value would be a future 1st, not a future 2nd (see what the Colts did last year).

Everything I've heard the Bengals want a young WR AND a Pick. Bears don't have a WR to trade (unless Hester is available... and I doubt he is). The only way I could see him with bears would be a 1st or a 2nd and 4th/5th?

Just throwing this out there (pure speculation on my part)... Bengals have had James Hardy visit them. I wonder if they would shop Johnson for a late 1st (cowboys???) to take Hardy? Each team can only have 30 visits... They must have some interest in him to have him visit.

How about- the Bears 2nd next year, one of their 2 3rds this year, and Bradley for Chad and a 4th.
