ArrayTexans agreed to terms with Chris Brown on a two-year contract, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.

We're not huge fans of Brown because he wears down easily, but Houston is a perfect landing spot for him. He could hit long runs in a zone scheme, and only Ahman Green, Chris Taylor, and Darius Walker are in his way. We expect a committee approach, and Brown has a good chance to find a role. Houston seems less likely to take a running back early in the draft now.[/quote]
Darn, I was hoping Chris Taylor (Former Hoosier) could finally get a chance to prove himself...
This doesn't really help them much, they have a long way to go for actual success.

Not as far as you might think.

They played multiple games without Andre Johnson (their best offensive weapon) and still finished 8-8 in the best division in the NFL. They also did this with Sage Rosenfields as their QB for a few games :o

If they were in the NFC South they may have won the division last year (5 of their 8 losses were to Colts/Titans/Jags).
But I also see a team without a good RB, Matt Schaub at QB, and no one on defense except for Mario Williams.

An honest question, how many games did you watch last year of the Texans? I don't think its many with those comments...

They are just a few pieces away from being a contender for 3rd place in the AFC South (aka 6th seed in AFC). Yes RB is one of them though.
Not many, I don't know how many Texans games I could possibly watch.

DeMeco Ryans is a star, and Dunta Robinson is well on his way.

Yeah, I forgot about Ryans, I was trying to think of linebackers who have played for them and all I could think of was Kailee Wong.
Side note: It's kind of funny that the Texans had the best defensive rookie in 2005, but it wasn't Mario Williams
