The Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints still have flickering playoff hopes. One team's hope will probably extinguish after the game between the Cardinals and Saints on Sunday (1:05 p.m. PT/4:05 p.m. ET, FOX, DirecTV).

The Cardinals (5-7-1) - along with the Carolina Panthers - are probably the most disappointing team in the NFC. A bright spot has been running back David Johnson, who has a chance to become only the third player in NFL history to finish with more than 1,000 rushing yards and 1,000 receiving yards. The Arizona defense is currently the best in the NFL, but will have its hands full with the Saints top-ranked offense.

The Saints (5-8) offense is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who is completing an amazing 70 percent of his passes and has thrown 30 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions. The problem is the defense, they have allowed fewer than 20 points just twice this season. One of games occurred last week they allowed 16 points to Tampa Bay, but the offense sputtered to just 11 in the loss, their fourth in the last five games.
