Hello everyone,

First off, sorry for the last 24hours, had a few issues with the size of all the posts being imported to the new server.

I would like to introduce myself, I am David, the new owner of ChicagoSportingZone.com
At the moment i'm hoping all the users, mods, and admins are happy everything staying as it is, I will be around to act as a general oversee'er, and dont plan on changing the site/forums at all.

ChicagoSportingZone joins the RedSquirrelNetwork, a small network of sites, mostly forums related to sports and music. The list of sites will be shown shortly.

If you have any ideas on how to get the forum up and running (I do have a few that I will try and persue), then please do let me know either on topic or via pm or email.

You can email me on David's Email
:yeahthat:

Yours

David

Well thats good, I can only hope you are more into getting this site back on track than the previous owner.

Agreed. Hopefully this brings about a renaissance in CSZ.
Wake me up when it happens.
The Hawks signed Hendry today, BTW.

David, (raises glass) here's to you for attempting to wake the sleeping giant of a site.
It has potential to be very good.

You may consider assigning more neutral based mods (no offense to those here-- but I have seen some posts by certain mods that need to be less hostile and leaning more on diffusing situations).
Welcome David!

I agree with the others that hopefully this site can get back to the 1k posts every 5-7 days that we were pulling in Feb/March.

Meh.
ArrayWelcome David!

Fixed.
Thank you all for the kind welcome!

I hope over the course of the next few weeks that we can start bringing alot more visitors and get alot more posts.
I agree they need to be quality posts, and I know that some people have a dire urge to post rubbish, so i have created..... The Spam & Randomness Forums.
This allows the posts that some users do not want to read, and allows them to ignore that forum.

If you guys have any other suggestions, please shout out and let me know.
At the moment im looking at a referral competition, where you gain a point for every person your refer that posts a minimum of ten (20) posts...
More details on that shortly...

David
Given the new management I am certainly willing to give this set of forums another chance. Good luck David!
