WR Johnson to meet with Bears
#1
ArrayThe Bears are working to set up a visit with free agent WR Bryant Johnson.

It'd be Johnson's first visit. He could be in Chicago by early next week. It's no surprise that the overrated wideout isn't being highly sought after.[/quote]

I like this move. He'd be a good addition as would the recently released Javon Walker.... Walker, Johnson, Hester wouldn't be a bad 3WR set to run out there.

I like it, Bryant Johnson could stick around longer than Walker, won't ever be as good as Walker either but he's a good #2 option.

No wonder Angelo wants him

Yet the market is bare, and we need someone. So he's the solution for this season.

He may be slightly more than a solution. He had to play behind two excellent receivers last year and still put up big numbers, I think he will bring a lot if he comes to Chicago, or any other team for that matter. And I like that there is a small market for him...makes him cheaper and I bet he will have similar production to what berrian had last year.

The only thing is, he's not as fast. I hope he has way better hands.

We have Hester, and I don't care if he can't remember the plays. When he goes deep he is much harder to cover than Berrian.

Whoa, I missed Walker getting released! Johnson wasn't bad, but definately overrated.

Did he ever actually meet with the Bears?
