I understand the law of averages in pricing, but to justify this withoot a constant playoff run is damned baffling.
Good business?

This isn't the Cubs.

Pretty soon, Detroit games will be considered "Prime" games, like the White Sox do for the Red Sox/Yankee/Cub games.

Chip was awful. You forgot about the two year pairing of Chip and Joe Carter when Stone took time off for medical reasons. During those two seasons, I actually thought the White Sox had better announcers. That's how bad it was to listen to the combo of Chip & Carter. At least Stone brought something interesting to the broadcast. Len can be annoying at times and Bob is not great, but not bad either. But at least we don't have Hawk & D.J.

Pat & Ron are the best, but you have to be a Cubs fan to like/put up with Santo. He's like Hawk, except without the attitude, which makes him fun to listen to.
